Gambero Rosso, also known as Sicilian red prawns, and technically known as Aristeus Antennatus are the shellfish of choice for Italian gourmets. These are almost unobtainable in the UK and London Fine Foods is proud of our ability to source them and dispatch them to you in excellent condition. These are Grade 3 Gambero Rosso, smaller than the Grade 2 but still have the inimitable melt in the mouth texture and creamy tones.
Serving Suggestions
These smaller red prawns are delicious simply tossed with chilli flakes and olive oil in a hot frying pan for a couple of minutes, as delicious as they are impressive.
