Gambero Rosso, directly translated as Red Prawns are widely regarded to be the best prawns on the planet! These wild caught prawns are from the South of Italy off the western coast of Sicily. The boats use only sustainable fishing practices to ensure the fishing grounds remain in the best condition for future generations of these wonderful prawns.
These prawns are incredible cooked, but are just as good in their raw form and really showcases their natural texture and flavour. The carpaccio are a larger, thinner disc than the tartares.
These 50g portions make for a very simple, but incredibly delicious dinner party starter to wow your guests. Simply transfer to your plate and dress how you like. A pinch of good sea salt, a drizzle of your best EVOO, a very last min squeeze of lemon, or our favourite- a big spoon of our Imperial Oscietra Caviar.
