Baron Bigod, 250g

This Bungay Brie shares its appearance with its famous French cousin, Brie de Meaux, but its taste is subtler.

A slightly-mottled white rind and pale yellow paste. Warm milky flavours a distinctive aroma and an earthy hint of mushrooms and a nutty rind.

 

Serving Suggestions

Baron Bigod is very versatile – for a simple, flavour-packed starter or quick supper, try pushing slices of garlic and fresh herbs through its rind and baking it in its box for about 15 minutes.
