The classic American Chanterelle Mushroom is a traditional favourite, possessing an extraordinary flavour, fragrance, and colour. The American Chanetrelle is predominantly grey with a yellow stem. The yellowish flesh has a lovely faint flora note.
Fresh Chanterelles have a slight heat to them, making them ideal for light dishes that need an extra lift. It is a very versatile mushroom. It also has an above average shelf life. Use with poultry, pork, veal, white sauces, or with eggs such as scrambled or omelettes.
