Wild Garlic is a leafy plant with pretty white flowers. It is milder in
taste than garlic bulbs and is wonderful in salads, soups, or used as a
side dish. Another favourite preparation is making a wild garlic pesto,
substituting the basil for the garlic leaves.
The vibrant
deep green colour of the leaves is retained during cooking and will
bring brightness and interest to your finished dish. The added bonus is
the delicate white flowers which are wonderful to use as an edible
garnish.
