Powdered trompettes have a dusty fine brown-black colour. Use as a condiment for flavouring stocks and sauces.


This mushroom also has a natural affinity with the flavours of coriander and basil, an interesting and very tasty combination rarely enjoyed before. Add to butter to create an interesting flavour for finishing stocks and sauces, or add to pasta.
